Successful test automation means shorter feedback loops, protection from regression failures, and more time for other activities such as exploratory testing and innovation. Apart from finding a magic wand, how do we achieve that success? In Lisa Crispin’s experience, teams that collaborate for test automation get the best results. Lisa will share ways she’s found to collaborate across disciplines to ensure not only good test coverage, but also robust, maintainable tests that provide fast feedback to the team. She’s hoping a few audience members will also be willing to tell their collaboration stories.

Lisa Crispin is an agile testing coach and practitioner. She is the co-author, with Janet Gregory, of Agile Testing: A Practical Guide for Testers and Agile Teams (Addison-Wesley, 2009). She specializes in showing testers and agile teams how testers
