Making games is a great way to learn. Any tool or technique can be used to add a feature to a game. Start with a something basic and gradually evolve into something interesting. As it turns out Haskell is quite good for continuous refactoring and suits well for at least home-grown games! But how exactly do you go from an empty project to a playable online multiplayer game? In this talk, you will learn one way to do it with tools like gloss, STM, websockets and servant among others.
