Laura da Silva

Laura da Silva is the Tech Principal Data Scientist at Elastacloud. She got a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in High Performance Computing at the University of Almeria (Spain). Her working experience is as varied as secondary maths teacher, software engineer and currently a very motivated lead in Data Science. She believes in the combination of CRISP-DM and Agile methodologies for fast Data Science delivery. She is the founder of a Meetup group called “Inspiring Women in Data Science” which supports women from different backgrounds to transition into Data Science careers. She is always willing to grab a coffee and chat around any project STEM or Data Science related.
