In this talk, we'll focus on the healthcare industry, and look at how event-centric domain models can make both batch and real-time integration significantly easier and more reliable. We'll also look at how to avoid the unnecessary coupling often introduced when integrating with third party systems with responsibilities which crosses bounded contexts.
Very few systems complex enough to justify the use of DDD live in a vacuum, and integration with third parties or other internal systems is often overlooked. Often the cost of integrating can be greater than the cost of building a new system in the first place.
