SkillsCast

Write more robust and extensible BDD tests faster with Serenity and the Journey/Screenplay Pattern

2nd June 2016 in London at CodeNode

This SkillsCast was filmed at London Tester Gathering Workshops 2016

This session was not filmed.

In this workshop, you will learn how to write clean, clear and maintainable tests using the Journey/Screenplay Pattern, an innovative new approach to writing BDD-style automated acceptance tests that are easier to understand, easier to extend and easier to maintain. You will also witness a demonstration of these principles in action, with live coding of Serenity BDD automated tests. While the demonstration will be in Java and will use Serenity BDD, the Journey pattern can be applied to any language or framework.
