Together we want to build a scalable, stable, and secure platform for distributed system that is the ubiquitous choice for people building server infrastructure. This talk will discuss the major community efforts made in recent months to deliver this goal and the work we need to do to continue our momentum.

Brandon Philips is helping to build modern Linux server infrastructure at CoreOS as CTO. Prior to CoreOS, he worked at Rackspace hacking on cloud monitoring and was a Linux kernel developer at SUSE. As a graduate of Oregon State's Open Source Lab he is passionate about open source technologies.
