.Net Workshop - Tech Talks

12th January 2017 in London at CodeNode

There are 1 other SkillsCast available from .Net Workshop - Tech Talks

We are starting the new year on Talks, to smooth our way into the .Net world for 2017.

Vishal Madhvani software developer at BetGenius, will present you .Net Core, an implementation of .NET on Windows, Linux and Mac. This will be an introductory talk (friendly for non dot net developers). He will tell you why you'd want to use it, and maybe we will be lucky enough to have a live demo.

We will then have a lightening talk: “How to design good forms for desktop and mobile”, by Chaymae Lougmani, UX Designer and Blogger. Empathy is key to design accessible digital products.

Halima, software craftswoman at Codurance, will talk to you about code smells, what they are, how to recognise them and what you can do about it, and will show you how to refactor your code using ReSharper from JetBrain, writing better code safely. This is a topic for junior and experienced object oriented developers, the demo will be done in C# on Visual Studio.
