yada 2.0 (~45 minutes)

7th February 2017 in London at CodeNode

There are 1 other SkillsCast available from yada 2.0 & Clojure efficiency pitfalls

HTTP has become the de-facto machine interface of today, beating off various rivals from the world of 'enterprise' software. In an increasingly integrated world developers expect to be writing more of these interfaces but we need better tools to build reliable, standard HTTP gateways to our systems.

Yada is a library to level-up your development of these HTTP interfaces, with a focus on compliance, re-use and performance. Yada is 2 years old as of December 2016 and has been deployed into production around the world.

As always, real-world experience influences new ideas - this talk will reflect on some of these experiences and how things are going to change in yada as a result.

If you are new to yada, take a look at the online documentation or yada user guide (commercial)
